HOW IT WORKS
The ISAT LAN Broadband Satellite Solutions use small 'two way' satellite dishes to transmit and receive data at high speed to and from a geo-synchronous satellite in space. Data is then transmitted back down to Earth to a Networks Operations Centre and then to the Internet.
No telephone connection, dial-up account or other Internet Service Provider (ISP) is required, as the satellite system doesn't use phone lines to connect to the Internet.
All that is required is that your satellite dish has a clear and unobstructed view of the sky to the south. |
